GSMA Moves from Las Vegas to Montrose, CO.
We are trading the desert for the mountains as Great Southwest Moto Adventures (GS Moto Adv) moves to Montrose, Colorado from sunny Las Vegas, Nevada.
Why the reason for the change?
Curtis Cummings, our founder, has lived in Las Vegas for most his life devoting his time to the local community through charitable initiatives, working at the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and managing a successful construction company through the Great Recession. As Curtis hits retirement this year he’s doing what he loves and hitting the dirt in a whole near area of the country and he's taking GS Moto Adv along with him!
Montrose, Colorado is the gateway of the San Juan Range of the Rocky Mountains. Close to the Trans America Trial, the Colorado Backcountry Discovery Route, the Continental Divide, the Alpine Loop, Moab and so many other amazing ADV routes and destinations. Curtis has already ridden extensively across the area and he’s eager to share his library of routes in a new area of the Southwest United States.
In 2020 you can expect GS Moto Adv to re-open its doors. We will bring back a small number of select tours similar to when we first founded the company. The tours will be unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences with a limited number of spots available. More details to come!
As we begin our transition to Colorado please note we are fulfilling all current rental and storage bookings. Rentals obligations will cease at the end of May. We will take the remainder of 2019 to wrap up operations in Las Vegas and make the move. Stay tuned for the exact start date of our operations in Montrose in 2020.
As Curtis has always said, “we sell smiles everyday and our success is determined not by the money we make but the size of each and every customer’s smile, the experiences we can share, and memories we can help make!”
