Experience the History of the Southwest ... Ghost Towns, Old Mines, and Settlement Routes

After a great evening on the Las Vegas strip we will travel along part of the Old Spanish Trail settlement route used by early settlers and pioneers. We will travel north and visit miner’s cabins, old gold mines, and ghost towns to our first evening in the gold rush town of Beatty, Nevada.

After breakfast, we are off to ride a portion of the Vegas to Reno off-road race course, through Indian lands and along the old abandoned Titus Railroad to Titus Canyon (known as California’s Grand Canyon).  We will visit Death Valley at Dante’s View and overlook 100 miles of the hottest and lowest elevation in the U.S. We will spend the night at Furnace Creek Ranch.  The Death Valley portion of this day's ride is self-guided due to the National Parks guided tour restrictions. Detailed maps and ride information will be provided for this section of the ride. The professional guides will sweep the route before the end of the day to be sure everyone has made it safely to Furnace Creek for the evening.

After breakfast we will ride to Shoshone (previous home of the Shoshone Indian Tribe) and Tacopa Hot Springs. We will work our way back to Vegas after visiting the Pioneer Saloon, the oldest (over 100 years old) and most historic Saloon in Nevada.  That evening we will arrive back in Las Vegas and enjoy a grand finale’ dinner together sharing the experiences and memories from the trip.
